My name is Manu Kapoor, and for the last twenty years I have been adorning brides and other clients with my bespoke Mehendi designs. I have always had a very special relationship with doing henna/Mehendi as it is a God gift and an inherited art from my mother. A self-taught artist, I am committed to provide artistic and professional services, thus enriching my clients with a unique, enjoyable and an unforgettable experience. Based in Delhi, I started following my passion from 1990 and have created a team of young and enthusiastic Mehendi artists including my sister Deepti Kapoor. Together, we have travelled a great deal covering more than 5000 weddings. Our team understands the sanctity of a bridal Mehendi and ensures quality by constantly innovating the designs. The highlight of our service is to provide bridal Mehendi, proudly decorating each bride-to-be with a pattern unique to her personality, including motifs that express her inner dreams and desires. Although proficient in many styles of Henna/Mehendi, I treasure traditional Indian bridal designs, and take exacting care with high degree of detail in my work. I love how the Mehendi ceremony fits into the entire celebration of Indian Weddings, and cherish my role as one of the many spokes in a wheel, making a couple’s special day truly a memorable one. Once I had a parent tell me, “Your role is so important in a wedding as it is usually the Mehendi ceremony that kicks off the wedding festivities.” Indeed the Mehendi Ceremony is an amusing ritual observance that derives its origin from the Traditional Indian customs. I truly believe Mehendi is one of the sixteen adornments of the bride and her beauty is incomplete without it. What we do?
